Terms of Service

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or submit content. People under 18 may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. You agree to notify us of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Listings, claiming, and your content

The Service lets you submit content such as places, events, products, coach profiles, photos, and descriptions ("User Content"). You keep ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant SoccerMapd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content to operate and promote the Service.

You represent that, for any User Content you submit:

• You have the right to submit it and to grant the license above.
• It is accurate and not misleading, and you have the right to represent the listing.
• It does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law.

We may review, moderate, edit, refuse, or remove User Content, and we may approve or reject listing claims, at our discretion. We are not obligated to publish or keep any content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, fraudulent, infringing, or unlawful content.
• Impersonate others or claim a listing you are not authorized to represent.
• Harass, abuse, or harm others, or post content that does so.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use the Service to send spam or unauthorized advertising.

5. Listing accuracy and third parties

SoccerMapd is a directory. Listings, events, programs, coaches, products, prices, schedules, and other details are provided by third parties or compiled from public sources, and are offered on an "as is" basis. We do not operate the venues, clubs, leagues, camps, events, or coaching services listed, and we do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, current, available, safe, or suitable.

Please verify details directly with the organization before you rely on them, register, pay, or attend. We do not vet, endorse, certify, or perform background checks on listed coaches, clubs, programs, or their staff beyond any information shown on the listing. Any "verified" or similar badge refers only to limited checks we describe and is not a guarantee of safety or quality. Parents and guardians are responsible for evaluating any youth program, coach, or activity and for the supervision and safety of their children.

6. Advertising, featured listings, and affiliate links

The Service includes paid placements (such as featured listings) and affiliate or sponsored links. Paid and sponsored placements are labeled where required. Some outbound links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

7. Payments

If you buy a featured listing or other paid placement, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the stated price and any applicable taxes. Fees are described at the point of purchase. Unless stated otherwise or required by law, payments are non-refundable, and you can cancel a recurring placement to stop future charges. We may change pricing prospectively.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and logos (excluding User Content), is owned by SoccerMapd or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by these Terms.

9. Third-party links and services

The Service links to third-party websites and services we do not control, including retailers and affiliate partners. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoccerMapd and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, goodwill, or profits, arising from your use of the Service, your dealings with any listed party, or your reliance on any listing. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoccerMapd and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally, and you consent to venue there. We both agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
